Polyester

Durability: polyester rates excellent in scratch resistance and strength. When polyester fibers are wet there is no lose in strength.

Comfort: Polyester doesn’t hold a lot of water. Polyester is light in weight and dries quickly. Polyester has been specially engineered for fiberfill applications such as quilted fabrics, padding for furniture, mattresses, duvets, futons, etc.

Care: polyester can be washed in warm water to minimize wrinkling. Polyester is resistant to both acids and alkalis and can be bleached with chlorine and oxygen bleaches. Polyester is generally resistant to organic solvents such as chemicals used in cleaning stain removing.
Uses: Polyester is an important fibre in knitted fabrics; it is also used as fiberfill in pillows, comforters, bedspreads, quilted fabrics, etc.
